Visa Application Fees Charges are non-refundable and may only be paid in cash Roubles only. Credit cards and other forms of payment are not accepted. Dependants are charged the same fee as the main applicant. All dependants who are travelling must pay the fee whether or not they are included in the main applicant's passport. The visa application fee reflects the administrative costs of processing an application and is not refundable if your application is refused. If a payment has been made and the application is not submitted or if the applicant refuses to provide biometric details with their application, then we will refund the fee. These fees are effective for all visa applications made from 07 October 2009. The consular rate of exchange is £1 Sterling = 50 Roubles. Applicants for family and business visit visas should be aware that the fees for longer term visit visas apply for example the fee for a 5 year, multiple entry family visit visa will be RUR 20000.
