I need to urgently travel tomorrow ?

A facility exits in Moscow for consideration of applications, if the circumstances demanded it, outside normal working hours. If the application is urgent and based on compassionate grounds, consideration will be given to accepting it at the Embassy. Regular visitors to the UK are encouraged to apply, when convenient, for a longer term visas.

I want a quicker service than a four-day turn-around ?

Two express options are available at an added cost

Option 1

Please apply by 1100 hours and your passport will be delivered to you directly by a courier by 2100 the next working day.

Option 2

Submit your application as normal including a full copy of each page of your passport. Once formalities are completed at the St Petersburg VAC, your passport will be returned. You will then be notified when your application has been processed, this will enable you to make arrangements for your passport to be delivered to the Moscow VAC - this does not have to be in person. Once your passport is received in Moscow, the visa will be appended the same day.

I want to submit a large group application, how do I ensure that the group can attend the VAC together ?

Please contact the VAC supervisor in advance ( at least 4 weeks ) to arrange a mutually convenient date / time. ( Link to relevant page on website )

Will I be called for an interview ?

We only interview in less than 3% of all applications that we receive from across Russia. Interviews are only conducted when the application cannot be resolved on the papers that have been submitted with the application. If you are called for an interview, it will take place in Moscow at the British Embassy.
